Pregnancy is a complicated time for many women. However, many people (strangers, family, doctors, etc) think pregnancy is only a time of excitement and anticipation for a woman- whether its her first or fifth pregnancy.
You may have experienced pregnancy loss through early miscarriage, late miscarriage, or stillbirth.
You may have had a successful birth, following an extremely complicated and high-risk pregnancy.
Maybe you had a normal pregnancy but had a traumatic birth.
If you’ve experienced even one of these scenarios, you know that it changes you. Not always in a negative way, but it changes you.
Mothers often aren’t allowed to acknowledge the trauma of pregnancy loss, complicated pregnancy and complicated birth experiences. Some mom’s don’t even realize it was traumatic for them, but there is so much there that can influence how a mama feels after all is said and done.
If you have experienced any struggle in pregnancy and birth, know I would love to be the one to sit with you and allow you to experience and process your emotions and your experiences to help move you towards who you want to be as a mother and as a beautiful person.
