In a world hyperfocused on food and body, disordered eating and eating disorder patterns can be hard to spot. So many of the behaviors that are deeply problematic and detrimental to our health are actually glorified and praised in our society.
BUT, since you’re reading this page, it’s likely you have a gut feeling something isn’t quite right in your relationship with food and how you feel and view your body. You may not know exactly what is “wrong” or what you hope to find in therapy. You may not know if you need to come to therapy. Maybe a loved one has encouraged you to seek help.
